Wensha Spa is one of the oldest spas in Metro Manila that offers a massage and buffet package, which combines massage and body treatments with access to sauna and pool facilities and concludes with a buffet meal. This holistic approach provides customers with the ultimate pampering experience, especially after a demanding week.
Wensha Spa has three branches: Wensha Spa Timog and Wensha Spa Banawe in Quezon City, and Wensha Spa Pasay near the World Trade Center in Pasay City. In this review, we’ll explore Wensha Spa Timog, the oldest branch.

Wensha Spa Operating hours
Wensha Spa Timog is open daily from 12 NN to 2 AM. This schedule may vary on holidays or without notice so make sure to call them before visiting.
Wensha Spa Timog is located at 4 Timog Avenue, Quezon City.
You can ride any PUV that passes through Quezon Avenue and alight at the Delta area where West Avenue, Quezon Avenue, and Timog Avenue intersect. The spa is approximately 200 meters away from the intersection. There are also jeepneys from Kamuning passing through Timog Avenue that can drop you off right in front of Wensha Spa Timog.
Wensha Spa Timog also has free parking right in front of the establishment.
Wensha Spa Attire and What to Expect
Upon entering, you will be greeted by a huge lobby where you can wait for your companions. Right in front of the lobby is the reception. Go to the reception and pay for the package that you want to avail. You will be given a bracelet that serves as the magnetic key to your locker and contains your locker number.
Proceed to the locker area and leave your belongings. The locker and bathing areas are separate for men and women. The men’s area is located on the ground floor, right in front of the stairs; while the women’s area is located on the second floor, beside the massage area. Take note that it is strictly prohibited to take photos inside the locker and bathing area to protect the privacy of other spa-goers.
Find your locker number and unlock your locker by tapping your magnetic key on the handle. The locker is not that huge, so bring only your essentials. After placing your belongings inside, close the locker– it should automatically lock upon closing. The management will not be held liable for any lost belongings so make sure to check if the locker has been locked well.
In the locker area, an attendant will give you a towel and a set of pajamas. You have the option to change to your pajamas if you want to dine at their buffet area (located on the second floor) or use the towel if you want to bathe first. Take note that you need to remove your clothes in order to use their bathing facilities. If you will be using the jacuzzi, you also need to remove your underwear. If you are not comfortable using the jacuzzi completely naked, you have the option to buy disposable underwear for 25 pesos.
Wensha Spa Amenities and Facilities
Frankly, Wensha Spa Timog is not a premium spa. The general atmosphere of the spa is a mixture of luxury and mediocrity. The same goes for their facilities. Some facilities are well-maintained while some are run-down.
Their bathing facilities are huge so visiting in big groups wouldn’t be a problem. They have a lot of shower cubicles, each provided with liquid soap and shampoo. However, some cubicles had broken shower valves when I visited. I personally like their steam bath and sauna because they seemed clean and are a bit hotter in comparison to most spas in Metro Manila that offer the same facilities. However, their jacuzzi was a bit too chlorinated for my liking. I also do not know if it is jetted (with a whirlpool function) because the water was stationary during my visit.
The lockers looked sturdy and the magnetic locks were functioning well. I would’ve preferred a bigger locker that can fit backpacks, but they are big enough to fit all essentials, e.g., phone, clothes, shoes, etc.
The interiors of the buffet area seemed newly renovated. Some chairs and tables looked shabby, while some looked new. There is also a TV provided for people who’d like to watch while eating. Generally, the buffet area looked nice. However, the air conditioning system seemed undersized considering the volume of people that the area accommodates, especially on weekends. When I visited, the room temperature was probably around 27 degC at best.
Wensha Spa Food
Do not go to Wensha Spa if you are a picky eater. Their food was bland. Honestly, even Cabalen and Tramway offered tastier dishes. But it’s not to say their food was not edible. They were just below average, even against carinderia standards.
They offer lunch, meryenda, and dinner buffets in batches. So if you want to maximize your food consumption, it is best to visit at 1 PM and then leave at 7 PM. That way, you will be able to catch all three buffet batches.
What I like about Wensha is their consistent, quality massage. Their massage rooms are also quite spacious– each room accommodating two massage beds. I’ve visited Wensha numerous times and never did a therapist disappoint me. They definitely have some of the best massage therapists in Metro Manila.
Don’t forget to give your therapist a proper tip if you enjoyed their service!
To summarize, Wensha Spa Timog gives a decent buffet+spa experience– enough to relieve you of stress. Priced at only more than a thousand pesos, I’d say it’s still worth the visit, considering that other buffet+spa establishments offer the same package at a much more expensive price. You’ll get what you pay for… or more.
